We Love Taking Care Of Your Pups!

Fiona Dunn

Daycare Attendant and Puppy Trainer

I started working at The Dog Spot early in 2010 with little dog experience. Once I started working here I fell in love with the intricacies of dog body language and scientific training techniques. Starting as a staff member who was just hired as a cleaner and now being involved in every process of the business has been tremendously rewarding. Training puppies in the Preschool has been my focus since we opened it in late 2015. In my spare time I work with families in Snohomish County and their dogs who have special needs. Some are elderly and have physical disabilities, or are not social with other dogs/people. I offer house sitting to families who need an experienced trainer to help continue working with their dog while out of town. My own dog, Kagan, helped me jump into the world of working with dogs with disabilities. She was born deaf and has taught me a lot about how implementing science based training is key to forming a lasting and loving bond with a dog.

Jane Tepley

Daycare Attendant and Puppy Trainer

I joined The Dog Spot family in 2015. I absolutely love this job and getting to know and work with all different breeds of dogs. I've fallen in love with many of the dogs here and have considered them my own! Ever since I adopted my chocolate lab Rufus, I became very interested in training and how dogs learn. I've assisted in several classes for adult dogs and puppies. I became a certified puppy trainer in the winter of 2017 and now  teach Puppy 2 here at The Dog Spot . I also work in the puppy preschool twice a week and love spending so much time with the puppies!  Watching them play and learn is one of my favorite things. I can't wait to further my career and training by helping families with their puppies and adult dogs!

Teresa Dickey

Daycare Attendant

I have been surrounded by animas since childhood; dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and a bird. My strong love for animals is not only from growing up surrounded by them, but also from hearing the wonderful stories from my mom's youth growing up on a farm in Montana.

I make an organic dog paw balm to help soothe rough dog paws, heal minor scratches and also dog hot spots. I am currently an assistant for one of the classes we teach here, Basic Manners and love it! I love all of the dogs here and their unique personalities!

Jennifer Cross

Dog Spot Owner and Head Dog Trainer

I am the owner and head trainer of The Dog Spot.  I have been working with dogs for over 15 years beginning with owning a dog walking company for over 9 years where I specialized in walking reactive dogs.  I have a zoology degree from the University of Washington, a Certificate of Canine Studies from the Seattle School of Canine Studies and an Applied Animal Degree from the University of Washington.  In addition to running the business end of The Dog Spot, I spend a lot of time in the playrooms observing dog play and body language, wrangling and training in the puppy preschool, designing and teaching staff continuing education and teaching training classes including Basic Manners, Terrific Teens and Reactive Rover.  My goal is to run a safe, healthy daycare as well as be a well known resource for positive reinforcement training in the community.  I truly love this business and feel proud that we can offer such a different type of daycare service.

Taylor McMaster

Manager and Puppy/Adult Dog Trainer

I was hired at The Dog Spot in 2009 and can truly say dogs are my passion! I am certified through Animal Behavior College and have been training since 2007. I am also one of the trainers for our puppy preschool program. I teach an advanced obedience class called Beyond the Backyard as well as a FUNgility class.  I started as a dog walker and daycare attendant and what I have learned about canine behavior through the observation of play is invaluable. It has helped me to become a better trainer and has helped me to understand how dogs learn, play and communicate so much more. This in turn helps me make educated decisions when it comes to the safety and success of all dogs here at The Dog Spot! We have a great team here and we are all passionate about making The Dog Spot a happy and healthy place for your pets to stay, play and learn!

Manager and Puppy Trainer

Hello! I’m Noël and I’ve been a member of The Dog Spot family since March 2013. I’m one of the managers and puppy trainers here. My favorite place to be is snuggling with the small dogs and puppies and working with shy or fearful dogs and pups. I love The Dog Spot because it is a completely unique daycare, boarding, and training experience that specializes in the overall mental, physical, and behavioral wellbeing of all the dogs in our care. All of the staff here at TDS truly cares about each and every one of our two and four-legged clients and we pride ourselves on the superb individualization of care and our fun, family-oriented atmosphere. I have almost 10 years of doggy daycare/boarding and body language experience, an Associate’s Degree from Everett Community College, a Veterinary Assisting & Grooming Certificate from Sno-Isle Tech, and a Certificate in Applied Animal Behavior through the University of Washington. When I’m not working, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband, two dogs, and my cat watching movies, reading, and exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

I've been working at The Dog Spot for about two years now. I have always wanted to work with dogs, since I was a child, bringing home abandoned and sick animals. In my spare time I help rescue Bully Breed(and other breeds) from death row in high kill shelters. I have four rescue dogs of my own, and four fosters who are looking for their forever homes. The Dog Spot is great because my fosters can get socialised with other dogs, as well as receive the positive training they deserve in order to be great family members for the people who adopt them.

Heres me and my boy Toby! A little about me: I'm really passionate about dog grooming and I may want to make it my career. I also enjoy pizza dates with Toby and napping with him!

I've been working at The Dog Spot since early 2017. Since I was little I've had everything from dogs to horses and loving every minute of it. Working here has given me the chance to learn, build relationships, experience new things and get to know all your dogs! This is n opportunity I have highly enoyed. I mean, who doesn't love spending their days with pups?! Whether its a doberman, doodle or moxie, they are the best friends a girl could ask for!

My name is Madi and I've been working at The Dog Spor since July 2017! I have loved animals my whole life and working with dogs is a dream come true for me. I have also been showing in 4-H for the past 9 years an am apart of the Sno-Isle Tech Veterinary Assisting class. In my free time I love to hang our with my dog Molly.
