BOARDING SPACE!
The Dog Spot offers boarding in a safe, comfortable and FUN environment. Your dog will spend the day in daycare playing with compatible buddies then cuddle up in their own private cabin for a well earned nights rest. Double cabins available for multiple dog faimilies. We recognize that each dog has their own play preference and strive to provide activities that will maximize fun and comfort level for each of our boarders. To ensure the safety and health of your pet and our other guests, we require all guests to comply with the following rules and regulations:
AGE: All dogs must be at least 12 weeks of age to board at The Dog Spot.
SEX: All dogs 7 months or older must be spayed or neutered to board at The Dog Spot.
VACCINATIONS: All dogs must have up-to-date vaccinations. Owners must submit written proof of annual DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Rabies is required for puppies over 4 months of age.
PARASITES: All dogs must be parasite free to board at The Dog Spot.
HEALTH: All dogs must be in good health. Owners will certify their dogs are in good health and have not been ill with a communicable condition the last 30 days. Upon admission all dogs must be free from any condition that could potentially jeopardize themselves or other guests. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinary certification of health to be admitted or re-admitted.
BEHAVIOR: All dogs must be non-aggressive and not food or toy protective. Owners will certify that their dog(s) have not harmed or shown any aggressive or threatening behavior towards any person or dog. Please remember that your dog will be spending time with people and other dogs and the safety and health of our staff and dogs is our main concern. With much research and thought for all involved, we do not board Pitbull or Pitbull mixes. For information on pitbull servcies please visit www.bullseyerescue.org.
BOARDING SERVICES AND FEES:
Boarding- $35 per night. This service includes a full day of play with other canine buddies plus overnight care in a private 4x6x6 cabin. On the final day of boarding dogs picked up after 11 am will be charged a half-day daycare rate of $18.
Multi-dog suite-$35 per night for the first dog plus $15 per night for each additional dog. This service includes a full day of play with other canine buddies plus overnight care in 2 adjoining 4x6x6 private cabins. On the final day of boarding dogs picked up after 11 am will be charged a half-day daycare rate of $18 for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog.
PICK UP/DROP OFF TIMES: Boarding dogs can be dropped off/picked up anytime between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, and anytime between the hours of 9 am and 3 pm on Saturday and Sunday. Dogs picked up after 11 am will be charged for a half day of daycare at $18 for the first dog and $15 for each additional dog.
RESERVATIONS: All boarding dogs must have a reservation. Reservations will be granted on a first come, first served basis. Kennel space is limited so please book early. There will be a $50 fee on cancellations with less than 24 hours notice. Click here to reserve a space today!
ROOMS: The Dog Spot strives to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere for all of our boarding guests. Each cabin is 4x6x6, secure, ventilated and comfortable. Dogs are provided maximum privacy to avoid the stress that comes with being able to see another dog but not being able to interact. Each room is equipped with a bed (ours or one provided by you) and you're welcome to bring any favorite toys or chews to keep your dog occupied (The Dog Spot does not provide any toys or chews since each dogs chewing style is different and toys or chews can be dangerous if ingested).
